Group Therapy

Group therapy is a technique where a therapist leads a small group therapy session of people. Group members meet once a week for 30-60 minutes, depending on the program. Typically, these therapeutic groups have anywhere from around 3 to 8 people in them. 

Benefits of Group Therapy:

  • You can learn from others who have similar struggles / goals
  • Helps you work on your social skills
  • Gives you a voice so you can be heard
  • Groups promote a safe space
