Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practicioner (PMHNP)
Sunny Days Therapeutics is exited to announce that our new integrative therapy clinic is currently hiring for a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). This role will start as PRN (employee or contractor) and quickly grow into a full time role with benefits.
The responsibilities of this role primarily include general psychiatric assessment, treatment, and follow-up as well consultation to other physicians and Sunny Days therapists.
Primary Responsibilities include:
1. Provide psychiatric outpatient medical care including diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and provide consultation. This position will work with patients of all ages and all abilities.
2. Maintain timely electronic case notes and documentation of services delivered.
3. Provide and or collaborate with Sunny Days Therapists in providing case management, consultation and referral to patients, participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate as part of the integrative care team.
Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing.
Two years of experience practicing in the expanded role, as a prescribing psychiatric clinical nurse specialist/nurse practitioner.
Licensed by Georgia Board of Nursing for advance practice with valid certificate of authority or licensed in another state and license eligible in George at the time of application, license to be obtained by start date.
National board certification as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Possession of current registration numbers with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for prescribing controlled substances.

LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist

This position will work with patients of all ages and all abilities. Therapy sessions can be held via Telehealth and in person… preference to be determined by you and the patient.
Ideal candidate will be licensed in the state of GA, have 2 years experience (a plus but not required), understand assessments, create therapy treatment plans and enjoy working with patients of all ages and all abilities… we pride ourselves on being inclusive. Also responsible for keeping up to date progress notes and providing updates to parents / caregivers when applicable.
